Astrology is a tool that allows us to understand our psychological make-up and it helps in the development of intuition. It is easily the most powerful tool for measuring character, mental and emotional constitution – our personality influences our choices and decisions that we make in life, and thus, it directly impacts the quality of our Life and our Fate.

Some well known people who used Astrology as a guide for forecasting a psychological crisis would include Carl Jung, Hippocrates (the founder of medical science), Sir Isaac Newton, Mark Twain, Galileo and Michel de Notre-Dame (known popularly as “Nostradamus”).

In this 7 hour workshop, topics covered include:

Introduction to astrology

The 12 houses and their representations

What each planet in your chart means

Impact of “CFM / FEAW / Yin-Yang” in your chart

Notes on personal development

Important points to note:

1. Participants must provide their birth details – so that we can erect their charts, for their reference during the session. This aims to give them added value.

2. By “birth details”, it means (a) date, month and year of birth (b) time of birth in 24 hour format and (c) country and state of birth (e.g. which state in Malaysia?)

3. Sometimes, for the less chatty participant, a 3 hour session is sufficient – note that in such case, no further discounts are offered.

4. The session starts at 11:00am and ends at 6:00pm latest.

5. Lunch is not included – do have a heavy breakfast prior. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch or order in, or join us for a meal (if you are not fussy about food).

6. Paper cups and light refreshments are available (coffee, tea, horlicks, milo and water).

7. Note: Our usual fee is $300 for the first hour and $100 for subsequent hours.

8. Ideally, this workshop is facilitated on a 1:1 ratio as some things are quite personal. If facilitated in a group setting (max of 3 participants), no further discounts are offered. The benefit of a group environment includes learning from each other’s chart and “seeing” more of how Astrology can work for you.

In ancient days, before the invention of vehicular modes of transport, when someone sets out on a journey, date selection was always engaged, to ensure the safety of the traveler as well as yield a return or benefit from the trip – seeing that travel was largely by foot back then, it meant that the traveler would be away from home for a long time.

Wouldn’t you want to engineer your very own “happily ever after”? That’s what date selection is for! The right timing for a long term commitment like marriage, can help soften strains in the relationship and make for a lasting “loving feeling” throughout! So it makes sense to apply “date selection” for key events in your life e.g. a wedding, launching of a new business or a new product, renovation and other significant events in life – right down to opening a bank account!

So what do we actually do for you?

For example, if we were selecting a date for a wedding, listed below are some of the steps we take – first, we remove the unsuitable dates:-

a) we look at the numerology cycles for both the bride and the groom

b) we look for a window when both Mercury and Venus are not in retrograde

c) we ensure that the shortlisted dates do not clash with the bride’s and groom’s Bazi

d) strike out the “no wealth days”

e) further shortlisting work involves ensuring that the groom’s solitary star and the bride’s lonesome star is not present on the chosen date

f) and we finally get down to narrowing in, on the most auspicious hours for the day’s wonderful event!

Of course, there is a different set of steps or procedures, for a different type of event! Listed here are some examples of types of events:

1. Marriage proposal and Marriage
2.  ”Installation” of bed
3. Breaking up – e.g. a corporate divorce and marital divorce
4. Renovation work
5. Launch or opening of business

Ok. So you decided to get your own house/apartment to get away from your mother, form a new family or just to own some real estate. Whatever the reason, you are now out shopping for a place to call your own.

But before you go ahead and commit the mucho dollars purchasing your dream home and decorating the place, why not make sure that the dream home don’t turn out to be a nightmare-waiting-to-happen by accessing the feng shui of place?

Here’s a few pointers to take note:

1) Typically we would like to see support at the back, left and right side of the property, either in the form actual mountains or buildings.

2) The layout of the land the property is on preferably should have a high back and gently sloping lower front.

3) The property should preferably be located away from fast moving traffic like highways or expressways and we are not just talking about noise and exhaust pollution.

4) The area immediately in front of the entrance of your house/building where your apartment is located is spacious and naturally bright. Dark and narrow entrances are a no-no.

5) No obvious large sharp and pointy objects, corners or edges of other buildings nearby directed at the main entrance or windows of the property.

6) Most importantly, the property you are eyeing should be roughly squarish or rectangular in shape with no missing corners or sections.

Well, there it is. 6 simple feng shui points to take note of when considering a new property. But at the end of the day, nothing beats getting a professional feng shui consultant or master to assess the property BEFORE you commit any money to it. Consider this: as you will be spending a large majority of your time in the property, if it’s a home, wouldn’t it offer you peace of mind to know for a fact that the place is compatible with you and your family plus the energies around the house is not negatively harmful, is harmonious and supports you? And the money you invest in a pre-purchase feng shui assessment? It is only a fraction of a full feng shui audit and definitely a lot less than the amount that will be paid for the property.

All I’m saying is, getting the correct feng shui of a new place right in the beginning is a whole lot better (and easier) than spending time (and money) firefighting later on.
